Gil Lansdale: Born in Mt. Sterling, Ky I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a self taught approach to mastering new skills. With over eight years of experiences as a certified scuba instructor, I founded Scuba Tech of Lexington in the early 90’s and became a highly respected dive retailer and training facility. My expertise and leadership in the scuba industry extended to a role as a regional sales representative for Cochran Undersea Technology managing a nine state territory and connecting dive professionals with advanced underwater technology.
After concluding, what I affectionately refer to as my “scuba days”, I moved on to the next challenge. For the past 25 years I have owned and operated Little Diggers, a residential construction and services company focusing on house foundations and related residential excavation. At a point during this phase of my life I began to feel the physical demands of construction and recognized the need for a new challenge and a long term sustainable career shift.
A pivotal moment came when I discovered CNC milling by seeing an ad on YouTube. Drawn to its precision and and creative potential, I took the initiative to self educate in CAD/CAM software and machining technologies. Combining this new found interest with a life long passion for firearms I founded Monster Dog Machining, a company focused on high quality, custom-machined, AR platform, firearm components and accessories. Across all ventures my life’s journey reflects a relentless commitment to learning, innovation and building something from the ground up.
Will Riley: US Army retiree and US Navy veteran with 33 years of service including 5 mobilizations. Experience as a machinist mate in nuclear power. Artillery both as forward observer and as an officer. Logistics and space operations in later years of service.
